HEALTHY BANANA BERRY PECAN SORBET {RECIPE}

We are smack bang in the middle of Summer and oh my has the heat been crazy lately, reaching temperatures into the 40s. It's no wonder you're probably craving some ice cream but step away from that Cold Rock and don't even think about going near a Wendy's. Here I have a healthy alternative to ice cream that tastes so good you may even pass up choc chip peanut butter ice cream for this delicious banana berry pecan sorbet.

Ingredients:
1/2 cup Frozen Berries
1/2 cup Frozen Mango
Half a Frozen Banana
1/4 cup Pecans
3 Dates
Cacao Nibs to Garnish

Directions:
Simply pop all the ingredients (other than the cacao nibs, but you can also add some of those if you want to) into a Vitamix/blender/Ninja/food processor (whatever you have that will blend up this food nicely) and blend until smooth.

Next time you're craving a nice cool treat instead of heading for the sugary processed ice cream, try making this easy and healthy homemade gelato. Feel free to use your favourite frozen fruits rather than the ones I have chosen and play around with different variations.

Thanks for reading!

It's still winter here in Italy...but still I always crave icecream!
Never seen pecan sold here, but I'll make do with what I have at home and I'll surely try out this delicious alternative tomorrow!
Thanks for the tip!
