I recently received this months Notox Box and am so impressed with what it contained that I am dying to let you all now more about it! Notox Box is an Australian based monthly subscription box where you receive 5-10 premium healthy and eco products delivered to your door each month for $25. It's truly inspiring to see companies like this spreading the message of healthy living and sharing the importance of taking care of our bodies with a healthy lifestyle. I also recently had the chance to chat with Sharon, the incredible woman behind Notox Box, so look out for a Q&A post coming soon with her. Now onto what was included in the October Notox Box!
This mineral rich marine clay is harvested from the unpolluted soils of Sicily. It's perfect for drawing out free radicals, detoxing, renewing and exfoliating the skin. It can be used as a face of body mask, hair mask or in a foot bath. It includes only natural and internationally certified ingredients.
Barenus Natural Muesli
This is 100% natural with no preservatives and includes wheat free oats and sulphate free dried fruit. Only the finest blend of oats, dried fruit, nuts and seeds are used in this muesli mix. I am so excited to try this with some Greek yoghurt, I think it's going to be delicious.
Organic Soybean Sausage
This was extremely interesting to receive as I have never seen anything quite like it. It's a soybean product but you cook it as if you would pasta. As a vegetarian, I was over the moon about trying another meat replacement but I'm also slightly skeptical about it being dried and you have to rehydrate it. Nevertheless, this product includes an amazing amount of protein which is great because I think I am going to add it to a stir fry for some extra protein.
Dulse Flakes
Sea vegetables help alkalise our bodies from the acid in our modern diet. They contain 10 to 20 times more bioavaliable minerals and vitamins than land vegetables. You can sprinkle dulse in soups, salads, stir fries or even eat straight from the bag as a snack. This will be my first time giving dulse flakes a go and I can't wait to see what they are like.
Bush Flower Essences Love Skincare
Certified organic with signature Australian Bush Flower Essences in each product. The Love System Skincare has beautiful organic botanicals, plant butters, exotic oils and herbs, Rose Stem Cells and Essences from some of the world's oldest and most unique Australian Bush Flowers in existence. If I end up loving this product I may do a review over on my beauty blog.
Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap
Castile soap is a traditional olive oil or vegetable based soaps. It's gentle on you and the environment beauty it's ree of artifical foaming agents, harsh cleansers, petrochemicals and chemical anti-bacterial agents (like triclosan). It's also biodegradable and super versatile as it can used in home cleaning, shampoo and body wash.
Alive Magazine
The box also included a copy of Alive Magazine that I look forward to flicking through.
I was really impressed with this month's box and would definitely recommend signing up to ensure you get your very own box next month! Don't forget to stay tuned for my Q&A with Sharon from Notox Box coming up soon!
