MEAT SUBSTITUTE REVIEW: QUORN MINCE

So I am back with another meat substitute review, this time I will be reviewing Quorn Meat Free and Soy Free Sausages. I wasn't sure what a meat free sausage would taste like but I was excited to find out.

Taste:
This mince was absolutely delicious because it tasted exactly like meat mince only it's so much healthier and there's nothing bad in it at all. Definitely the perfect ingredient for a guilt free but wholesome pasta sauce.

Serving:
I used the mince to create a tomato based wholesome sauce to go over wholegrain pasta. The consistency worked perfectly as if it were actually meat but it tasted so much better.

Nutritional Value:
Servings: 4
Serving Size: 75g
Calories: 82
Protein: 11.9g
Fat: 1.2g (only 0.4g saturated)
Carbs: 3.1 (1g sugar)
Sodium: 36mg
* Quite low in calories and fat but high in protein which is awesome. A great source of protein without feeling guilty.

Price:
It's $8 for pack that contains 4 serving sizes (300g) so it is a bit more pricey than actual meat but a really great quality food item so worth it.

Overall I think this mince has a very similar texture to meat mince and so you can use it in any recipes as a perfect replacement.
